The East Secote people is a large group of Secotes mainly characterised by speaking an East Secote member of the Secotic languages, which include Carassic, Lutoborian, and Far Secotic. These are the most widely spoken Secotic languages worldwide. The East Secote people are native to the central and eastern Great Steppe. Among the various branches of the Secotic people, East Secotes are the ones that preserve the most of their traditional nomadic, pastoralist lifestyle. The following subgroups are included in the East Secote people: North Secotes, Far Secotes, Mandrivniks, Surim Secotes, Lutoborians, and Kesruba Secotes.
