Edict of Oblition

The Edict of Oblition was a Neritsovid Imperial Edict which consigned Siriash to Oblivion. It was issued by emperor Lyudodar in 1607 after his victory in the Errancy Era as a fulfilment of the pact he had made several years previously with a number of prominent Oblitors. Although the original edict itself was destroyed shortly after being promulgated and all copies ordered to be burnt as the conclusion of the process, several copies have survived. After proclaiming the abolition of the Polcovodate of Anabbah and charging the Marshal of the West with that country's conversion to Vaestism, commencing the Sublimation of Anabbah, the edict names the Anabbine royal house, the chief noble houses of Anabbah and other prominent Sirian families, and a variety of Sirian sects throughout the rest of the empire, detailing their whereabouts and giving passing reference to some of their doctrines in order to identify them before the repeated command:

Da bǫdǫtŭ vĭsĭma zabyti, i da ne glagol'etŭ ixŭ vĭsěkŭ językŭ, i da ne slyšitŭ sluxa ixŭ vĭsěko uxo.
Let them be utterly forgotten, and let not a tongue speak of them, and let not an ear hear tell of them.
