The Gulf of Matay

The Gulf of Matay is a large gulf of the Esperasian Ocean; it is often, but not systematically, included within the Ballarat Sea, a marginal sea of the Esperasian. The gulf is squeezed between the Ekhah Peninsula to its east and the Noble Ostrobor Peninsula to its west.

While almost all of the land surrounding it is controlled by Azophin, the Gulf of Matay contains all but one of the islands which make up the New Zaavic League, one of the handful of independent states within the Seranian continent.
