The Samezeau language is a Sabamic language, and is part of the larger Cislacunic group; it is spoken in southern Savam, eastern Brex-Sarre, north-western Ceresora, and northern Cantaire, and is associated with the Samezean people. Samezeau is not the sole official language of any country; however, it has an official status in sub-state-level entities in Savam (Occois-Garde), Ceresora (Vallinia), and three northern departments of Cantaire. It is more closely associated with Savamese and Verborian than Cantairean or Astredean, since its Occan sub-group belongs to the North-Western Sabamic family, while Cantairean and Astredean are classified in the separate South-Western family.

The language is divided into two major dialect groups, the so-called northern dialect, mostly found in Savam and Ceresora, and the southern dialect, mostly found in Cantaire and the Brexo-Sarrois region of Estologne.
