Sabamic is a classical language belonging to the Cislacunic branch of the Medianic languages. It was the language of the Sabāmani Civilisation, originating from the Old Sabāmanian Country in modern northern Brex-Sarre, western Ceresora, and southern Savam. The late vernacular form developed into the Sabamic languages from the 6th century CE onward. Late Sabamic in its classical form was the interordinate language of the educated elites and science in Messenia, until the influence of Orange Revivalism saw different vernaculars replace it. Nonetheless, it remains the official liturgical language of Orthodoxist Cairony and is still partially used in every-day worship there. The Sabamic alphabet, used for all Sabamic languages is a direct descent of the Messenian alphabet.
