Lause (Gergote: Laužē) is a marshalate of Zemay, bordered by the Zemayan Banner-State and Azophin. Lause is located in the Areef mountains and, since its creation from Azophine territory at the Congress of Kethpor, serves as a buffer-state between Zemay and Azophin, although since the Congress of Molot it has been strongly integrated with metropolitan Zemay economically and militarily.
